Yes! Read it. It is fascinating, especially if you like, art, architecture, design, and history. And, it is all true.
I enjoyed The Devil in The White City very much & it has some really cool facts mixed into the story.
Yes, read it...you won't put it down. There is also a video of the White City...the exposition that is fascinating.
Yes, do read it. The book is so well-written and fascinating on many levels. It holds your attention throughout the entire book, and as a bonus, I also learned some things about our history. Really interesting! I think you'll be happy you read it. Anyone I've recommended it to enjoyed it very much.Barbara
i was wandering around chapters last night and saw an author's name, and finally figured it out! the novel was called "a little stranger" and is by kate pullinger. something about the way her name was on the front of a book, made me remember! it's kind of encouraging, i was feeling ridiculous that i couldn't remember it!
hi you!i tried calling you this morning, no luck :( i saw you were on 53 mins ago...just missed you :( hope you are good! talk tomorrow?
nope, but i'll think about it. from there came one of the quotes i think about from time to time as a mother - how one can be completely bored by something, and do such a totally bad job of it at the same time. often seems to fit these days :)
finally signing up, tho' it's really hard to remember all the books i've read :)
hi you! how are you doing? was just at the library with penny and amyia so felt the need to log on
