No perfume is dearer to me than the wonderful smell of old books. As far as I can remember, I caught bibliomania at the age of 12 years or so. No perfume is dearer to me than the wonderful smell of old books. As far as I can remember, I caught bibliomania at the age of 12 years or so. And since then I have been reading....good books and bad ones too. Good to know what is considered as good and bad to know the difference between good and bad.
I recollect an interesting incident of my life. It was around 10:30 at night and I was in bed with William X Keinzle's 'Chameleon'. My elder brother was about to sleep and he looked at me and said that it was too late and I should sleep. I kept on reading, all engrossed in the unputdownable chapters. I kept on. It was only when my brother woke up again and looked at me horribly that I glanced up at the clock. The clock showed 04:00 in the morning.
I write and I write regularly. I am in the habit of writing short stories, verses and essays. However, I love the poems that I have written the most. 'The Beastly City', 'A Heavenly Wish', 'Warmed and Stimulated' and 'I am not in Luck' are a few of my favourites.
I am a complete bibliophile and would like to be so for the rest of my life. I like to explore and so have always given free rein to my inner explorer. Like I can read for hours on end, I can write without taking the hours into account at all. All I consider is whether the piece or the verses I am trying to write are done.
I like to roam....roam the streets, the parks and gardens, looking for an idea. An idea that could make a difference!
And finally I would like to be a style icon too!
