“It's been a while since I've read a Baxter, and I've only every read one Pratchett (Colour of Magic, quite a few years ago), but this is a wonderful re-introduction to the former for me! The usual Baxterian elements: great story, great characters, underpinned by fascinating sciencey-philosophical concepts. With a lovely injection of Pratchetty silliness. Eagerly anticipating the sequels!”
