Mona, love the new pic, you look so happy!
It was good. Main character is woman about our age going thru "mid-life crisis". Aren't we all? I liked it.
Hi there! I noticed that you have a book I co-wrote on your wish list of books to read. I'd love to know your thoughts on "Building the Green Economy" once you have read it. I can also highly recommend Bill Bryson's book and Middlesex, I've read them both. I think you'll enjoy them.
Hi Mona, finally back from back east and new grandmotherhood. Plan to get involved with shelfari now that I'm offically retired. Retired, what a huge word....
Ok Mona, things are still crazy; retirement, huh.....Still trying to figure this shelfari out, getting closer.Denise Dyer
Yeah, I can see it on my mac. You have to actually click on the book, not just drag your cursor over it. Then that book's page fills up your entire page, not just that little bubble that shows when you put books on your own shelf, and clear over to the left side of the page, near the top it says "group shelves" and you click on that and it shows each of your groups and under that it gives you the options about where you want to put the book.
I love the name of your investment group.
Mona, I saw your question to V about adding bks to group shelf. You have to click on the book and once you are on that book's page, all the way over at the left you click on Group Shelves and it lets you mark either reading or read. Have fun at vicki's tonight!!!
No I don't. Does our Administrator have to do it? I don't think I've ever done anything but post a note. Mona! Mona! don't drive yourself NUTS...it's not worth it...it's only a virtual bookshelf...I'm here for you pal (I don't know anything) but I'm here! vik
Hey Miss Mona! How are you? I wanted to let you know I just finished an AMAZING book, called "Three Cups of Tea." I definitely suggest it!!! I also wanted to ask what you thought of "A New Earth," I was just thinking about picking that up this weekend.~ Megs :)
Hey Mona, did we pick May 23rd for our weekend? I know this has nothing to do with books but I hadn't talked to you on here for awhile. How were the girls last night? Miss you guys. Let me know. Wendy
It is me :) I figure my dog is sooo much cuter than I am - I usually post her instead! How was your Holiday?
This new format is frustrating to deal with. I wish that they would give us some sort of heads up about the new changes and how to navigate them. Hope you had a great Christmas.
YAY! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I've read a handful of other books by her, none of them quite as amazing as "My Sisters Keeper." But, I've really enjoyed all of them. I would really suggest "19 Minutes" & "Keeping Faith." Those are my other favorites of hers. Merry early Christmas :)
I think all of her books are good. They all have interesting characters with something unusual happening.
I see you finished My Sisters Keeper - what did you think? :)
