One of her poems from One Blue Star was selected and performed by That Uppity Theater Company in St. Louis as part of “Peace Out” in 2004. She has had articles published in several magazines, including Writer’s Digest, and speaks to writers' groups.

Mindy was one of five Missouri women writers recently interviewed by Melissa Block of NPR’s “All Things Considered” about the 2006 mid-term elections.
Mindy is the assistant editor at Scribe and Quill (www.scribequill.net) and a member of the Missouri Writers’ Guild, St. Louis Writers’ Guild, Writers Society of Jefferson County, Missouri and the Missouri State Poetry Society.
She is also publicist and literary agent for the work of Dr. Dan Skelton of Conway, Arkansas.
Mindy’s other interests include painting, calligraphy and hot-air balloons. Mindy lives and writes in Missouri.
