I always was a dreamer n my incongruous surreal world of books was more real to me than the world I resided in.The characters from the books were more vivid and lively than the shadowy presence of the people I interacted with everyday.

As a kid , I used to get lots of books on my birthday. I was not even old enough to... more »

There are so many chick lits lying around in the same lines as this book , that even before reading I was bored. But, the book turned out to be a real surprise. So Grace, is a shopaholic as all women with emotional problems are portrayed to be and she works for a fashion magazine. But this is not a Devil Wears Prada. Though Grace's boss Kiki reminds me a little of that. Then hero Vaughn, was an real jerk at times but at times he was really sweet. I enjoyed it quite a bit!. Good read.

As good as most other regency romances. But I have read so many of these, that now I can say I'm an expert. So, this book could have been better. I rake who is the hero of the book is not actually a rake though. So, go figure! The heroine who is an ice princess, becomes a warm person. The overstretch was that though she was married she have shared a conjugal relation with her dead husband only twice or thrice. So, she is oh! so innocent. Not bad for one time reading though.

Ok but not as good as all other percy jackson novels. I was kind of bored in the middle. They fought an impossible fight and still came on top! Anybody reading this need to read 'percy Jackson and the Lighting thief first'. This book has a lot of Luke. I wanted the finish the complete series , otherwise I would have avoided this.

Not a bad story but too much violence for my liking and the prince is not literally a prince but an Earl. Even though that's regency I feel as if I have been duped by the book name. One time read only.

Just one time read. The title is more interesting than the story is. The writer had so much scope with a gypsy from regency and a lady. But she couldn't do much justice. Maybe she should start reading a few Lisa Kleypas novels to get a better idea about what the readers want.

Jason is a good hero with amazing powers to fly and call the lightning, being the son of Jupiter. But I kind of missed Percy. So, Jason doesn't remember anything but he calls the god by their roman names. He, piper and Leo goes on a quest to free Hera. The quest also helps each of them to discover their own life mysteries. A sure read!

I love anything greek. All the gods are torn between their greek and roman natures and are having headaches. Gaia is rising and it is upto Percy, Jason, Annabeth, Piper, Leo, Hazel and Frank to stop Gaia from rising and fulfill the prophecy. At the same time Annabeth have her own quest also, given to her by none other than her own mom, the goddess Athena, to avenge her honour from the romans. Annabeth's quest is related to the prophecy. She can unite the greeks and the romans.
Like all other novels in this series, this was full of adventures and excitement. Never once you feel bored. Percy is my favourite hero in this series but this has Percy as well as Jason.
Definitely read this and also decide whom you like more, Percy, the son of Poseidon or Jason ,the son of Jupiter or Zeus.Happy Reading!

  • The Indigo Spell

Much much better than the golden lily. This book is all about adrian and Sydney. In the last book Sydney's magic was weak and uninteresting. This book has lots of magic. But anybody wanting to read the book for its vampire angle will be very disappointed. There is nothing even remotely vampirish about this. In indigo spell Sydney uncovers more and more alchemist secrets and tries to reach to the bottom of it. Adrian and Sydney are officially a pair. Cheers to that. Adrian deserves someone to love him.
I was a little disappointed though that there was no mention of rose and demetri and abe muzur.

This is by far the best book in the series. The last too were a bit too tame., Though I have to say , the end in all three books where the girls fight with the demon, is a bit fuzzy.
