My current release, KILLER CAREER, is about a lawyer whose career change could be a killer when her mentor, a NY Times bestselling author, does more than write about murders. And what about her partner? Is he more than a best friend? Will he let her go without a fight?
When I'm in a light mood, I write romantic comedies like my Cinderella Story, GIRL OF MY DREAMS, about a straitlaced assistant who turns vamp in a reality show to save a dyinig TV studio.
My debut mystery, TWO WRONGS, is a tale of revenge and the healing power of love. It's set in Chicagoland and is sprinkled with the flavor of the area, containing many references to Marshall Field's before it was Macy's, Frango mints, DePaul basketball and other local interests.
A mistaken testimony sends the wrong person to prison. Now he's released and out to get not only the one who sent him there, but also all he holds dear.
Killer Career is available at Barnes and Noble. All three of my books are available on Amazon.com in print and in kindle, along with other online venues and independent bookstores.
I'm a past president of the Chicago-North Chapter of Romance Writers of America and also served in other board capacities. I'm also an active member of Mystery Writers of America, belong to Sisters in Crime and EPIC (Electronically Published Internet Connection). I've also written several human interest articles for the Daily Herald newspaper.
I do a major portion of my writing on the Metra commuter train to and from my day job as an administrative assistant at a Chicago Loop law firm.
