Amy

I'm a 32-year-old homeschool mom, writer, and Christian. I love to read, write, and watch movies. I'm a pretty unconventional, fun-loving, kind of girl. I consider myself to be laid back and very thankful for the life I lead.

As far as writing and reading go, I prefer Fantasy over all other genres. I love the adventure and... more »

Thanks! This year I fasted 25 days straight, which I never did before (we don't fast at 'that time of the month'). It's from about 4:30 am to 6:30 pm. Anyway, I think it sort of gave me a boost to write more for some reason. I'm about halfway through my story (I think). Later.

Hey Amy! Glad to hear from you, and that your health is better. Wow, so much has happened in the past few months...

I have a new niece Salihah (she looks just like my sister), we've moved back upstairs now that most of the renovations are over, and I'm still reading 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' - not because it's not good, it's just that I've been writing most of the time. Yes, I think I've finally hit a stride with my writing. At this rate I should have a decent 1st draft by the end of the year (fingers crossed!).

Oh, Eid was last week Sunday (Eid-ul-Fitr, that is) signifying the end of the month of Ramadan, and fasting. Anyway, life's pretty good. Bye for now.

Hey Amy! How's it going? Thanks for the Twilight advice. Series books usually get better later on anyway. I haven't been doing any reading in a while, but I also had a bit of an interruption with writing too since we're renovating our roof and had to move downstairs. My sister and brother-in-law only moved into their new house about a week ago. Our house is in chaos now. Ah well... I hope you're feeling okay. Later.

Wow, we are amazingly similar! I just read your blog about you wanting to be a published author and I was so excited as it is something I want to do as well! The Harry Potter party you threw that was over the top was so something we would do as well! And the room remodel too! The grape green and pink is something Briana has been asking for as well. Briana's birthday is in May so just barely a month apart, lol. Briana is working on 6th grade this year and she too is a one and only=D I would say that our religions are the only difference yet. I am currently studying Buddhism. How exciting to meet someone so similar and so close=) It is a pleasure to meet you!
