As a mom of three young children it's not always easy to find time to read. I recently "rediscovered" the library and have also managed to open my children's eyes up to the wonders to be found there. My two year old is particularly fond of it; whenever we head out, his first question is "Go library?"

Many books on my read shelf are from a time when I would read just about any book that crossed my path. I'm a little more choosy now, though I'll still read just about any high fantasy novel that I come across. I enjoy the escapism of it. However, many of my favorite novels tend to be a bit more highbrow; my number one being A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. « less
