Have you read After by Efaw? This is one that will fly off my shelves.Candy
how did you like Benjamin Button as a graphic novel??
Hi Barbara! I think I'd like to see some ratings on your books, I'm wondering what you thought about some. What did you think about Tasty Morsels, which was on Amazon's best books of 2008 list?
sorry...for that note appearing 4 times...sum error...
hey! u have read sum interesting books!....
would samurai shortstop work for a group of 12th graders in class?
I haven't seen that one. I'm a big Gaiman fan.
The fan books are fun, but I agree about the original Jane Austen works!
Did you know Siobhan Dowd died in February of last year?
Just finished "Bog Child." What a powerful and beautiful book.
Too weird - "Bog Child" is my to-read-while-no-husband-is-home-just-me-and-my-dog-day tomorrow.
Just finished three I think you would like: "Hot Lunch, "Generation Dead" (zombie teens - what's not to love?!) and "The Adoration of Jenna Fox."
Thanks for the head's up on the new titles. I agree about the Twighlight series. I loved the first one, but I am getting tired of them being so drawn out and I am sooo tired of Bella. I'm ready for Edward and Jacob to discover that they are gay and run off without her! I think you recommended "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" which I thought totally rocked. I've read one book each from these authors, but have others on my "to read" list now.
Have you read "Elephant Run" by Roland Smith? Yum-ee!
You must read "Little Brother" AT ONCE!
I really enjoyed Uglies. I just started Pretties...I don't think I'm enjoying it quite as much. I'm not too far into it, so I'll give it time.
There was actually a really interesting article by Richard Peavar and his wife and co-translator about how they go about their work - I just recently purchased their translation of The Brothers Karamazov but I have not gotten to it yet.http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/14/books/review/Pevear-t.html
