Hi! Please check out my group for Minnesotans at: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/25210/discussionsHope you can stop by and say hello.
Thanks, Naomi! I'll definitely start to purchase them!
Naomi,Have you read all of the books by Kathy Reichs? Are they best read in order? I've been wanting to get into them for a while but I haven't bought any, yet.
Hi Naomi! I loved Eat, Pray, Love! It is a little out there at times, but over all a good read and gave me a lot to think about. I think you should read it!
I thought you might be interested in a contest that I’m holding. It’s wacky, creative and ‘killer’ fun. ‘Create a Corpse’ Contest lets you name a character in my next suspense novel Divine Justice. Of course, you guessed it—the character dies. So here’s a great way to ‘kill off’ your boss, or childhood bully. ;)For contest details, just scroll over the following URL, copy and paste into your browser. This contest is for avid readers who’d like to be part of the process. I’ve been getting lots of entries from my Shelfari friends, and I look forward to receiving yours. :)http://www.cherylktardif.com/contests/~Cheryl Kaye Tardif, bestselling author of Whale Song, Divine Intervention and The River
Great to meet you. Looking forward to checking out your shelf and I hope you enjoy mine.
What a lovely surprise Naomi -- I hope you will enjoy the book as much as others have. Delighted to meet you as well.
Thanks for the recommendation for the first Eliz Peters book and the Connie Brockway--didn't know it was set in Egypt. Sounds great! Thanks also for the interest in my work. If you'd like to start, my two latest (The Untamed Heiress and The Courtesan) may still be hanging around some bookstores, or check your library. They are all available at on-line bookstores, some for a penny! You can read the book blurbs on my website to see which stories sound most interesting to you. And if you do read some, let me know what you think. I always like honest reader feedback, and by necessity as a writer, have developed a pretty thick skin, so feel free to be blunt. (You should read some of the reviews readers post on Amazon -:(), even for books that get RT Top Picks, contest finals and kind comments in Publisher's Weekly.) Thanks for being my Shelfari friend!
Your sunflower sign-in caught my eye (gardener that I am.) Did you grow it? Then I browsed your shelves and saw so many favorites: SEP, Stephanie Plum, Linda Howard and that rare WWII gem, Sentimental Journey. Also noted Eliz Peter's Egypt series, which I must start reading since I love Egypt and mystery, but there are so many (wonderful dilemma! Which one do you recommend to start for someone who hasn't read any of the series?
Hi Naomi! Thanks a million for including so many of my books on your shelf!!!! I'm very honored! Happy reading... :-)

Hey Naomi,I'm still exploring each interface, so, I've no substantive comparisons to make yet. Also, "The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes" is a fun novel. I do think Jenny Crusie's parts are the strongest, surprise, surprise, but overall, a pretty good way to while away an afternoon.
