    Let me formally introduce myself, my name is Harriet and i am trying to start an African American library in my town of Jackson, TN for teenagers and young adults to keep them off of the streets and reading books. So far we have about 70 book and about 30 teenagers and young adults so the books have been read really fast. I would like to know if you would like to donate any african american fiction and nonfiction books that you would like to get rid of. We are trying to expand and need more books but can't afford them right now because we only have a handful of people doing this project. If you are interested in donating any books to us please feel free to email me back at your convenience and I will send you the address for the books to be shipped to.     God never put more on you than you can bear and Ruth is holding God to His Word. Ruth has lived her entire life in the shadow of her parents, Bishop and Queen Esther, as the poster child of Preachers kids. After over 30 years of marriage, she realizes that her husband was stepping out on her. Ruth woke up from the haze that had become her life to realize that life threw her a drastic curve ball.

    Keep Misery Company is an exceptional read. The storyline is full of twists and turns while dealing with everyday issues – homosexuality/AIDS, forgiveness, teen pregnancy, adultery, homelessness, and drama in the church. The character development is on point as the reader can easily relate with the realistic characters. Keeping Misery Company was a combination of The Color Purple and Diary of a Mad Black Women – running the emotional gamut while illustrating God's ultimate sacrifice. Definitely one of the BEST and ORGINAL CHRISTIAN FICTION books this year!
