Sorry I haven't written back earlier. I had surgery just 3 weeks ago and I haven't much energy or enthusiasm for much of anything right now, but when I'm feeling human again, I'll read your stories.

Check out a great resource at your library called The Writer's Market. It will tell you all the publishers out there now and what they are accepting. It is usually a reference book in most libraries but it has great info. Good luck.

You might like the Sellswords Trilogy if you like the Drizzt books so much. The dialogue is a bit inane at times, but Jarlaxle and Entreri are still so much fun than brooding Drizzt!

I've been better, but it's great hearing from you. Yes, I love Drizzt - I've read every book and short story about him that Salvatore has published and I own most of them as well and go back and read them whenever I need a little Drizzt in my life. I even named one of my fish after him - I know that's pretty silly, but oh well. How are you doing?

Yes, I have been published. I have three short-stories and a few poems published in obscure literary journals. I'm "shopping" for a publisher right now as well for my next work. What you do, is based on what results you are going for. If you are interested in a publisher, I suggest reading some of the things they have published before and seeing how well they sell and promote their authors. I hope that's helpful. Feel free to ask any more questions and I'll be glad to try to help.

i am with you with memnoch, theres like 100 to 200 pages you could just rip out and then read the rest without missing a beat, it was a good book overall but alot of it was just plain mind numbing boring

You do make a good point--Lestat isn't whiny. That's why he's my favorite! No, I haven't read Jennifer Rardin--what are her books like?
