A new group has been launched, Momtallica ~ we are looking forward to your input!
Audiobook ♥ Haven
Audiobook devotees are welcome here! Let us know
which books and authors you are listening to as you
make your way through each day. Audiobooks have
been my drug of choice for over a decade. Selections,
narrations, sources, and devices have improved greatly
over that time period.
Do it this way...
Lakota Instructions for Living as Passed Down from White Buffalo Calf Woman
Friend, do it this way - that is,
whatever you do in life,
do the very best you can,
with both your heart and mind.
And if you do it that way,
the Power Of The Universe
will come to your assistance,
if your heart and mind are in Unity.
When one sits in the Hoop of the People,
one must be responsible because
All of Creation is related.
And the hurt of one is the hurt of all.
And the honor of one is the honor of all.
And whatever we do affects everything in the universe.
If you do it that way - that is,
if you truly join your heart and mind
as One - whatever you ask for,
that's the Way It's Going To Be.
I see you gave Hunger Games 5 stars so you must have liked it. Tell me a little abt it - did you get into it right away? Was it a real heavy read? I've looked at it a few times but each time I read the jacket, I'm left thinking it would be a downer. Many folks have read it. Can you tell me more?
Hey Momtallica, I see that you are from Canada and I was wondering if u know of any thriller authors that write about Canada. I just bought one called Black Fly Season by Giles Blunt. Do u know of any other authors???? I see that u are in the Scandinavian Group. I have found and purchased alot of Scandinavian authors that were recommended.
Hi Momtallica. I'm from the Canada group and just wanted to stop by to welcome you to the group. It's not a terribly active group, but it tends to comes in spurts. There is a Welcome and Introductions thread if you'd like to introduce yourself there. We also have a review thread if you read anything by a Canadian author. Of course, feel free to contribute to the other threads as well! Enjoy! :-)
I see you've already found the introductions thread. Thanks for joining in right away! :-D
