Honestly, this book reminded me of Twilight... but not as interesting (I enjoyed the twilight books). The storyline is quite similar though, just no vamps or weres... elemental powers instead. It lacked action, but definitely not romance (a bit fluffy). I thought it was an okay book. I would have given it 2.5/5 stars if I could have, but 3 will do. Doubt I'll read the next one though.

Wow! I really enjoyed this book :) It's a rather unique storyline, not many grim reaper YA books out there.

Lex used to be a normal, happy teenager; but lately she's been taking a swing at everyone... literally. Fed up with her destructive behavior, her parents ship her off to the town of Croak to spend the summer with her Uncle Mort. Well; it turns out that uncle Mort is a grim reaper, and she's about to learn the ins and outs of the business herself! But there is evil hiding in the shadows.... and Lex might be the only one able to stop it.

A promising start to a new YA series! I look forward to the next one :)

** There is a bit of mature language in this book, I'd recommend it for 14+ **

Once again, an author decides to write a book on christian pop-culture..... and manages to interview the kooky people! I did not enjoy this book, i fond it dry and kinda dumb. Can anyone PLEASE show me an author who is truly "neutral" when writing a book?! :(

WOW, I loved this book! Once again, the Drood family (and Molly) are back kicking evil butt. I found this book was very fast paced, and filled with lots of action. Eddie and his family continue their battle to save humanity, this time from a fate that would bring hell on earth. Revelations, surprises, death & some quick-witted humor make this a fantastic read. You finally find out who the traitor in the family is too! And what an ending.... great starting point for the next installment, but kinda sad :(

Definitely worth a read if you are a Simon r Green fan

I found this memoir hard to follow, he jabbers about random things a lot. His life was interesting.... but it took a lot of determination to get through this book.

I read this as an ARC from work.

I absolutely love this book! The characters feel real, and unlike many other dystopian fiction novels.... life isn't completely gloomy and monotone in this society. The character development was great, and the storyline is refreshingly original. I can't wait until the next one comes out :)

Considering that this book was written, during filming, to add depth to the movie..... I will not be seeing the movie! I found the story rushed and lacking depth (above all things)... the characters were poorly developed (in my opinion) and I found the ending anti-climatic since they don't actually put the full ending in the book itself. But after reading this book, I can honestly say that I really don't care who the wolf is. I'm just glad it's over. #1 WORST book of 2011 (so far)
