I like books. Books are my job and my pleasure. Give me an open fire, a rug and a couple of candles, accompanied by a good book, and I am the happiest woman on earth.

damn! there are also some books which are not on the catalogue. have you found that? it's usually the more recently published ones, obscure academic treatises and indie press...

re:ethics. I am listing books I own. When I read them, I'll comment. I haven't made any comments yet, but that's because I'm too lazy. I haven't listed anywhere near all my books yet either, but that's because I OD'd on listing last week and am taking a break. Which amounts to laziness, probably...

is that ethical??? I think I own most of the one's i've put up but I don't think it matters if the odd library/borrowed book gets in there. who's checking?? xx

i literally don't understand what's happening. why are my books big and ungainly whilst your shelf is a managable size???

carolyn wants to know why she hasn't been invited. although she deleted the original invite because she thought it was spam... can you have a shelf for really awful books where you can slag them off?? this things too nice. xx

Randomly selecting categories of things to list till the cows come home is a healthy human occupation. Don't worry about it. Some of my best friends are librarians... try putting your cutlery in order of curvature.
