hi! i am sorry! this is almost akin to eavesdropping into somebody's profile:) but i couldn't resist answering ur question aimed at somebody else though...:) i have read salman rushdie...and i can say that of all the literary influences on me..he's been the most enduring one...if u visit my profile u'l find an excerpt written by him on' Does Writing change anything'.....

może...z resztą na własnej skórze się przekonałam, że jedna książka może mieć kilka twarzy, zależnie od mojego nastroju...
bo było inne. ostatnio o tym myślałam, czym tak bardzo ta książka się różniła...myślę, że fragmenty quasi-filozofii, które sie tam zawieruszyły, jakiegoś takiego innego podejścia do życia, nowego życia, są tego przyczyną. nie porwała mnie książka, to prawda, ale na tle dwóch poprzednich bardziej mi się podobała. poza tym w odróżnieniu nie była scisłym kryminałem, ta akcja ("akcja") w niej zawarta nie była mi tak potrzebna, jak słowa. a w poprzednich dwóch chyba bardziej się skupiłam na akcji.no i jeszcze jedna kwestia - może to, że trafiła w taki a nie inny czas życia mego? pamiętam, że 'Yeni hayat' /Nowe życie/ to nie był tylko tytuł książki, ale tytuł tamtejszych dni moich...

pride n prejudice is kind of n old classic. it has a nice english feeling in characters n sets n mannerism. v even have a bollywood movie on it (bride n prejudice). while reading it i already had all the characters well picturised in ma mind. n i felt too much into the plot while reading it as if m the one of those characters. the story line n pretty simple. no twists. a kind of love story in the end.

myślę, że bardzo istotnym jeest fakt, iż ja "reszty Irvingów" nie czytałam :)) to jest moja first book. i boję się zrazić. póki co jednak idzie mi ok, ok, choć czasem muszę odłożyć na chwileczkę, żeby mi ciśnienie opadło ;)
podoba mi się bardzo, choć tytułowy bohater mocno mnie zaczyna irytować (a przede mną jeszcze tyyyyyle książki)..

wróciłam tu. mam zamiar zabrać się za więcej książek. tylko sesję zacznę i skończę :Pjeślibyś chciała coś mi bardzo polecić, jak już skończysz się egzaminować, to nie zwlekaj. ostatnio znowu cierpię na brak ciekawych książek. a o rekomendacjach dawnych już pewnie zdążyłam zapomnieć :(buziam.
