    Hi,

I think you will like Twilight. It’s a good book. It won’t take you long to like the characters. But one warning… once you read one of the books, you’re addicted to the series ^_^
I see you also read the books of Stephen Lawhead. Did you liked them. I'm starting with Hood soon. I love Robin Hood, so I hope it's a good book.

    Keep on reading!
    Greetings, Monique

Vampires, Witches & Were’s all that
would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    As always happy reading..
Show me the books he loves and I shall know the man
far better than through mortal friends.

    Fellow Shelfari Friend,

i recommend strongly you read:: How Wal-Mart is Destroying America. See
what your conclusions are , and then share your thoughts top other consumers. Here are my thoughts...( note: I try to be a fair, siomple minded, common sense person at all times. This book has me a tad perturbed, to say the least

    Here are my thoughts

Is anyone as Disgusted and Disturbed as I am after reading this book? I realize the author has a bit of a slant as he abhors WM, however it is downright scary.

Can this company be any worse for America?

    Where do we start?
Importing tons of CHEAP product from overseas
    Greedy
    Taking advantage of its workers
Beating its suppliers out of business for its own gain
Killing economies as they move into town.
Utilizing and taking advantage of government subsidies to get their "boxes" built.

So we all save 10 cents per box of popcorn or a gallon of cranberry juice.

This to me sums up how silly we the American people are. We are outsourcing America to death. Pretty soon there will be no jobs so we won t be able to shop anywhere.

Not to mention the service is awful.

We the public have the final say and we CHOOSE to shop where we want.

Will some peope read this and STILL shop there to save a few pennies?.. of course. however i think if most read this........ they ll choose to spend their dollars elsewhere.

Walmart is , in my opinion eating America up. We all need to wise up here. I don t know of a situation where monopolies are any good for the consumer. Do you??

    Thanks,

My hero Rhett Butler a jerk ????? Never ! How can you say such a thing ? He's GORGEOUS. What a man. Swoon.

    I cannot finish Joyce's Ulyssezzzzzzzzzzzz, or Johnson's Rasselas !

Nor do I care for long poems like Aurora Leigh or Tintern Abbey...

And much as I love Vanity Fair, I must admit to not being quite so keen on some of his others & have got stuck halfway through a few of Walter Scott's.
