This was a pretty interesting read.
My favorite parts were how police officers on there own were far more careful and less likely to get into dangerous situations, but also far less likely to make mistakes...and the use of a blind for symphony auditions.
An interesting read, but not much take away.

While this is only the second Ian Fleming Book I read, I can tell this isn't one of the best.
The first half of the book is written in first person in the voice of the female character. Although it was an interesting approach, it kept me wondering whether or not the printer had made a mistake and somehow the bond cover ended up on a Harlequin novel.
Toward the end there was some slightly anticlimactic action but it didn't quite rescue the novel from this writing experiment.
I enjoyed The Man with the Golden Gun much more.

I really enjoyed reading the House Trilogy even if it wasn't nearly as good as the original Dune. Frank Herbert's Dune is truly a masterpiece and belongs on the shelves of high literature.
The trilogy series are great reads, but only as quality science fiction.
They don't really transcend the genre.
