    Review:

"Catch A Falling Star" by Beth K. Vogt was a very sweet contemporary Christian romantic story that I could not put down until the end. I loved the way this author brought in adoption. This was indeed a well thought out script. This "author did a great job showing that it wouldn't be easy and that rejection is part of the deal as the child heals over time." This was very well done. For the main part of this story we find Dr. Kendall Hayes who is 36 and unmarried. It seemed like all of her friend...Melissa, Sonia, and Rachel...all doctors were married but not Kendal...even her kid sister was getting engaged. Kendal was having a evening out with her friends and notices a young man who starts having a allergic reaction and she fines herself quickly responding. Now, this is where the story gets interesting and I will say you must pick up this read to see what happens next when Kendall learns that Griffin and Ian Walker are brothers who recently lost their parents. Kendall and Griffin will get off to a rock start but keep reading to see if this will lead to a road to romance for these two. In the end we will find out that life doesn't always go according to our plans. The characters were all well developed, 'vibrant, spunky, complex' and so real. Be ready for many conflicts that will only cause you to keep reading. Would I recommend "Catch A Falling Star?" YES!

    Review:

"Catholic Guilt and The Joy of Hating Men" by Regan Wolfrom was a read of nine short stories of different women with a 'wide range of emotions: from joy, laughter, terror, chills down my spine, wanting to give some characters high-fives, and then wanting to smack one of these characters over the head.' I think that says it all. Most all of these stories feature some kind of paranormal, fantasy and supernatural world presence with a mix of humor. This is a collection of different situations that they have faced and how thy totally dealt with it in their own way. For the most part the stores were engaging especially if you are a horror fan. I will say this book isn't for everyone especially if you are easily offended or don't appreciate a darker humor and themes...this book would not be for you. Now, if you are into dark humor and funny dark themes then this read would be for you.

    Review:

"Caught in Amber" by Cathy Pegau was a good 'Sci-Fi romance that I really enjoyed reading. I found this read somewhat sci-fi, urban fantasy romance really made a statement about dug addiction in general. This drug is called Amber, heroine or another other highly additive drug. From the read we find Sasha has been out of a correctional facility for eight months as a reformed addict. She has a chip in her neck for monitoring her and she wants to remain clean. Never wanting to see they guy that got her in all of this who was 'Guy.'

Nate Sterling who was a CIA agent, sister, Kylie is working for 'Guy' and is more likely involved with Amber as Sasha used to be and he wants her to introduce him to Guy as someone who has a business proposition hoping that he can get him into Guy's operation and get his sister out of this mess. Why would Nate want Sasha to do this for him? Does it have anything to do with the chip in her neck? Will Sasha help Nathan because she wants to get back a Guy for throwing her away like garbage? This is where I say you must pick up this excellent read to find out how this all comes out.

"Caught in Amber" was a good romance and the characters were all developed and colorful personalities. Sasha, Nathan and Guy really gives the reader a intriguing story from the beginning to the end.

If you are looking for a good sci-fi read with some romance you have come to the right place..."Caught in Amber" would be recommended to you.

    Review:

"Carved in Darkness" by Maegan Beaumont was some mystery, thriller/suspense read that was simply some good read. We find that Melissa Walker for 83 days of rape and torture has been taken by a psychotic killer. She was just seventeen year old. She is left for dead but is alive. The person that did this to Melissa was never found and she was not able to identify him because he had her eyes sewn shut. As times goes on we find that Melissa Walker has began a new life with a new name trying to forget the past. Melissa is now Sabrina a police officer who is carrying around a big secret. "She's Melissa and no-one knows she survived apart from her Gran, her room-mate Val and her younger brother and sister." However, when the person who did this to Melissa/Sabrina finds out she is alive we find out from the read that he will do anything to get her back. Now, this is when I say you must pick up the excellent read to find out what all this author has in store for the readers. There will be a lots of twist and turns in this novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are all so well developed and very intriguing along with being so very captivating. Sabrina is really one heroine that you don't want to mess with. She may have been damaged but she is also 'strong and smart.'

If you are looking for a well written mystery, suspense and thriller you have come to the right place for "Carved in Darkness" will give it all to you. Would I recommend? YES

Series: The Staff and Sword # 1

    Review:

"A Cast of Stones" by Patrick W. Carr was good fantasy read with some Christian based and the first of this series of 'The Staff and Sword.' You will find it a very interesting and exciting novel. This read starts out with a drunken young teen boy named Errol and believe it or not becomes the hero of this story. We will find that Errol get caught up into something that he never dreamed existed, "he is challenged, stretch and even forced to make decisions that will change his life forever." We find from the read...' On Errol way to deliver the messages, someone tries to kill him. It's definitely not the last time through out the book that someone tries to murder him, but the question is why? Why are there so many people after a simple 19 year-old town drunk?" This is where I say you must pick up this read to find out what is going on. Be ready for a very captivating and mysterious story as the boy will leave "his village and go to the city of Erinon to help his king and kingdom." The plot consisted of a lots of twist and turns, with a descriptive scenery and characters were all so real and well portrayed.

If you like very creative medieval fantasy then you have come to the right place for: "A Cast of Stones" will take you there and I would recommend this read.

    Review:
"Blinded Love 2: Kim's Struggle" by Lena Banks was a continued novel from this author's 'Blinded Love series." We now find Kim has been beaten almost to death...'now desperately fighting for her life' in the hospital.' Kim has her mom and prayers going up for her along with her best friend Trina who has problems of her own that she must deal with. Tony is still doing his own thing...dealing with drugs, gambling, sex and he is still doing this while his girlfriend lies near death in the hospital that he caused. However, as you read we find out more into Trina life with her baby's daddy, a new love and also that Kim's mom is now married to a good man. This novel spends a lot of times showing how Kim is praying and wanting to get out of this mess with Tony and then the beat...down. But will Tony give up and come clean or will he remain in his present state of darkness? This is where I say you must pick up this good read to see how this author who has written a well delivered story for the readers to see how God's word....'God is good all the time and all the time God is good' is how all of this will come out. "Blinded Love: Kim's Struggle" is a read that you will not want to miss reading along with the series 'Blinded Love: Kim's Story.' Be ready for a read that will have "men that loves having lots of money, the streets, sex and taking revenge' and believing that certain things can never happen to them." However, what is left... for some from physical and mental abuse, death and then the penitentiary will be what will be delivered. I felt this was a very good read being the second in this series that I would recommend to you as a excellent read.

"Blinded love: Kim's Story Dangerously In Love," by Lena Banks was really one read to may want to sit down and take good notes on this excellent read. Its sad in more ways that one. Kim had all the right people around her giving her warning of getting into a relationship with Tony, but the advice 'fell on deaf ears.' Your heart really goes out to the young lady with all the physical and abuse she went through. Be ready for a very emotional read that will leave you shaking your head. As you read through "Blinded Love" you can see that Kim was looking for love that was lost after the death of her father. We quickly see that her choice for Tony was not a good one. Tony was abusive, sold drugs, gambled but most of all the beating that he gave his girlfriend. When Kim finally decides enough is enough, will it be too late? I will only say at this point that you will need to pick up the excellent read to see who this author delivers it to the reader and the ending will leave you wondering what is coming next as this drama continues. We will find out the outcome of this from "Blinded Love: Kim's Struggle" ...the next novel from this author. Would I recommend this novel? Yes!

    Review:

"Bound to Night" by Nina Croft was the first in the series: 'Sisters of the Moon.' I found this novel to be as usual one of Ms Croft reads that keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what is coming next. This was a short read but a well written ship of a relations that formed between a vampire and werewolf. Even though this started out as a friendship it becomes so much more.

We find that this young girl, Tasha Grant who was 'telepathic' was attacked by a werewolves at thirteen year old and has lived at 'the Facility" for the past eight years in horrible conditions. Over the years had been forced to turn into one, however, this would not happen...not even during the full moon. A vampire named Jack who was also being held at the 'Facility' was Tasha's only friend and would feed on her at night. Tasha even asks Jack how to turn but he refuses to tell her 'how tor turn, fearful that the men will force the truth out of her with the truth serum.' So, Jack with some assistance from the outside escapes and takes Tasha with him and then this story really gets interesting and this is where I you must pick up this good read of "Bound to Night" to find out what Ms. Croft has in store for the reader. How is this to work with vampires and werewolves are enemies? What all does her father have to do with her being attacked in the first place? From the read you will learn more about Tasha 'special abilities, the circumstances of her birth and most of all her fathers secrets.

If you are looking for a quick fast paced read with even some paranormal sex romance you have come to the right place for Ms. Croft's "Bound to Night" would be a good read that I would recommend to you.

"Born to Be Wild" by Patricia Rosemoor was a very good suspense, mystery and thrilling ride. The suspense and situations that was so dangerous was simply well played in this action, danger and drama of a ride. Also I don't want to leave out some of the hot sex scenes in all of this action that was taking place.

This is a mystery that has brought two people back together due to their fact that their daughter is missing. This was a good read of many twist and turns from a missing child, who showed much strength of character in the face of danger.

"We get to see memories of their innocent teenage love, their fiery hot love, and the love that both Isabel and Micah hope can be their future. But do they end up together? Do they find their daughter alive and well? Who is the culprit?"

"Born to Be Wild" is one that will keep you guessing until the end so at this point I will say you will have to pick up this good read that I can only recommend to you as a good read.
