I wanted to welcome you to the CAGROWN READERS group. This is a group very close to my heart. Some say they left their heart in San Francisco. I left a good deal back in California when my husband promoted and moved to the south.
It thrills me to member in the group. Love to hear from you..what books you are reading, recommendations and books that aren't worth are time would be awesome.

Yeah, I read The Stand every summer for like 10 years in a row, including the unabridged version he later released. I haven't been keeping up as well the last few years - once he completed the Dark Tower series, I just didn't feel so compelled to read any more.

I really need to get in here and get some more stuff added, once i figure out an easier way :) I did all of this late one night when I should have been sleeping :)

Hi Milly! Thank you for the add! I started reading her ( VC Andrews) in about the 9th grade and kind of stopped after her death, when the publisher had ghost writers " carrying on" her style, in her name. The first couple were okay, but I haven't read as much lately! I do like Suspense...I am reading the new David Baldacci right now ( The Whole Truth) and it is quite good!
    Happy reading!

Hi, Milly D, I notice you have a lot of Dean Koontz on your shelf. I've only read one - VELOCITY -and I was truly creeped out. What books of his do you like? I notice you have THE LINCOLN LAWYER on your TBR list. You'll love that one. I would skip CELL, though. I used to love Stephen King, but I don't really enjoy his work anymore. Perhaps I've just outgrown him.
