Miler

This past year I have forgotten the joys of reading. With so much going on in my life I have not had the pleasure of sitting down with a book and loosing myself to another world.

Just recently a friend of mine invited me to join her book club and after one meeting with her book club I realized how much I’ve been missing.

PC is on the fritz at home and have lost your cellphone number -- will probably be about a week without one -- meanwhile am accessing my email sporadically from the library, so if you resend your number to me I will call you --hope all is ok --love ya

I see you have "Pippi" on your shelf--a childhood favorite! I will have to visit with her again. Is that "Mistress of Spices" like the movie that was out last year or so?

I have the same problem; that is why I spend so much time on here looking at other people's shelved. You should take a look again in a few days as I am searching for books that I am trying really hard to remember reading when I was in Israel -- I have found a few and am not going to give up until I round up all them varmints --LOL
    Love ya chickie --xxxooo

Thanks for the suggestions ! . . I personally haven't read any of Jane Austins, but plan to. I want to read Jane Eyre, also. I was just getting online to check and see how long 3 Musketeers is. I bought the unabriged Count of Monte Cristo to read this summer (ovef 1000 pages). I will get about 3-4 ideas to suggest to the ladies . . .

    Hi,
I'm asking friends to be on the lookout for a classic for our bookclub in Sep. I see you have some on your shelf. Any favorites? My library group is reading classics this year--some I haven't heard of, so we'll see.

So many books, so little time -- couldn't sleep last night -- hubby was in NYC with his kids and before I knew it I had been adding books until about 2am and what I have added is probably a small percentage of what I can remember, so am going through other people's shelves to jog my memory and then will actually have to start going through my actual (as opposed to virtual) bookshelves, which contain a few thousand books as well -- it is such fun to remember each book. What I amdreading is going back and writing a short review and tagging them when I am done -- talk about a herculean task!! :) Love ya sweetie xxoo
