For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Proverbs 12:15 says "Fools think they need no advice, but the wise listen to others. Proverbs 13:10 says "...those who take advice are wise." Proverbs 17:16 says "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and understanding than silver!" Proverbs 18:15 says "Intelligent people are always open to new ideas. In fact, they look for them." Proverbs 19:8 says "To acquire wisdom is to love oneself; people who cherish understanding will prosper." Proverbs 19:20 says "Get all the advice and instruction you can..." Proverbs 19:27 says "If you stop listening to instruction...you have turned your back on knowledge." Proverbs 23:12 says "Commit yourself to instruction; attune your ears to hear words of knowledge."
