Mike, i noticed that you have Tropic of Cancer in your wishlist. Ive a 2nd copy, it is mpb, im going to post this in my bookmooch account. Do you have a bookmooch account? If you are interested just inform me.
It's interesting how among the books i have ever read, I haven't read any of yours. Although I love
all marvel movies, I do not really read the books. right now I am in love with Thrity Umrigar's The Space Between Us. I can relate because even it is set in India, it's just like Pinas sa hirap ng buhay, at sa dilemma ng mga tao. Read it, I recommend it.
Hi. 5 new poems are posted at http://www.allanandres.blogspot.com/

4 new poems adapted from Tu Fu, Pablo Neruda, Rainer Maria Rilke and Paul Laurence Dunbar posted at http://www.allanandres.blogspot.com/

Thanks, Nino. I have a copy of Wind-up. Actually my first Murakami book in possession. But never got round to reading it.
Hi GnP. I didn't know where to reply to your comment in my blog (http://islandhopper.blogspot.com -- nakss, plugging pa). But yeah,I've read Kafka on the Shore, my first Murakami. I liked it but I guess I was just getting used to Murakami's bizarre ideas. Plus there was way too much talk about cats. That and the oedipal cunnilingus aspects disqualified it from any of my fave list. I'm looking forward to reading Wind Up Bird, but the heft of the book scares me.
Go for it Mike! I know you dont need luck..God bless!
Will keep you in my prayers for a successful thesis defense, been there, done that and was nervous too!
Hey, Mike! Will you be marching this month? Kailan grad mo? I couldnt recall, what was your MA?
Godspeed!
