I mean, they all have husbands and wives and children and houses and dogs and, you know, they've all made themselves a part of something and they can talk about what they do, and what am I going to say? You don't have a huge list of books, but your shelf is stacked! I'd like to come back and search the titles for more things to read.

Confession. Well, confessions. One, was all psyched ages ago when I found this site, got myself all set up... then didn't visit again. Two, when you alluded to my preference of poetry over short stories, this was murky-familiar, at best--had to go back and read my own profile! Three, sensation of reading my own profile--hands immediately over eyes, eyes peeking through in horror. Why is it so terrible to read your own writing? Do you feel that way? Feels so embarrassing to me. Anyway, thanks for reaching out. These messages have made me want to return! And return soon enough to know what the hell I said the last time I was here. Have a good night.

Hi. The BookExpo should be an interesting event. I'll be coming there from Florida. I'm looking to network with other authors while I'm there. This is my first BookExpo event. It should be interesting. Get in touch.

So Book Expo America is this huge book show, that can sometimes be dominated by big publishers and established authors. We're trying to point out what new books are coming out that people might like. The show is kind of an insiders group, and we're trying to bring a 'people's voice' to the show. So if you've got something to say, let's hear it. :)

Interesting profile. Are you Swiss? They seem to like meshing weapons with utensils, lovely folk. Have you read "The Looming Tower"? It's on my list, trying to decide how far up it should be...
