Hi. I liked Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children pretty much. It was fast to read and fantasy did not feel too fantasy.
I hope you like The Brain That Changes Itself as much as I did.
Kathy: The Golden Spruce was incredibly good. I have even recommended it for our upcoming year's local book discussion ... and the Woodland librarian who comes to our discussions totally agreed with me. I doubt if I'd have read it or even been aware of it if I hadn't seen it on your Shelfari list. So thanks for that!
I'm glad you enjoyed The Girls! It conveys a unique perspective on the world, and has an ending I would not have predicted.

I've thought of reading Zero, The Biography of a Dangerous Idea. Now I'm going to add it to my list of books to read. Same thing for The Rule of Four. Alice M
