    I would like to invite you to a group that I've started here on Shelfari. It's a group with the sole purpose of gathering together author's, publishers, blogger's, and Yahoo Groups, special book related events to that they can be shared in a convenient way.

    I do a daily calendar of events post on the Black Velvet Seductions blog where I list contests, guest blogging appearances, new releases, 5 star reviews, author interviews, and other bits and pieces of interest to readers and writers. You can check out the recent calendar of events at: http://www.blackvelvetseductions.com/readers_blog/

    To share your events simply join the Shelfari group or the sister group on Yahoo (see the tab on the top of any blog page for link) and post your event on the appropriate date. It's that easy.

    From there, I gather the events, categorize them, and post them on the blog on the correct date(s).

    The blog has shown an almost daily increase in traffic on our blog as more readers are becoming aware of the calendar of events and are using it to find contests, interviews, and other fun events.

    I'd love to include your events on our blog. It's free promo for you, and all it takes is sharing the info somewhere where I can find it easily (the Shelfari group or the Yahoo group.)
