I am a teacher and a writer. I teach AP English Literature and AP World History. I write plays and essays. I sponsor the diversity club and the environmental clubs at school. I produce the yearly Shakespeare Festival and manage the scholarships we give to two seniors who will major in English, Theatre, Communications, or Film in college. Right now, three golden retrievers are sleeping at my feet--Sonny, Bella, and Gracie. I just married my high school sweetheart, and he brought five boys to the house. I have one little girl who is getting ready to go off to college. I have a feng shui garden and sometimes give talks about it. I love to hike, but I am thinking about getting a street bike for short distances. Yes, I drive a Prius. You could guess that, couldn't you? I have belonged to an incredible book club for fourteen years, and right now my carpenter is trying to fix the ceilings where a lead pipe broke so that I can host book club next month. I think reading is sacred magic. « less
