I love to read! I'm a mother of 2, not counting the hell cat that deigns to live with us.
Stripping the required pound of flesh from me- the hand that feeds it! Where is the justice??

Rather than fiction I believe I should be concentrating on reading Cat Training books... If only they were even vaguely interesting. . . ...more »

Thank you for writing and you are not long winded. I feel the same way as you with regard to the critics and hearing candid non-professional commenters. I will check out the authors.

Hi sweety.I miss talking to you. Hope things are going good. I didn't know you liked fantasy. I read The Sword of Shannara and the Elf Stones of Shannara and they held my attention pretty well. Maybe you too would like those. David

A lot of the books on my shelf (don't think I will ever get them all listed) I no longer own. I would have to have my own library to hold them all. But you are welcome to borrow any ones you would like that I own at any time.

Read your profile....there are no cat training books that work. Only the cat itself comes with a book to train the humans.

Yo Mer ..... Pillars of the Earth is rather old - published 1989. but I was referring to Mary Stewarts (increasingly illnamed, it seems)triolgy about Arthur .. I read it, it seems to be, in the early 70's.

As for kbert - i do not know him at all, thought he was a friend of your's. Mayhaps he is too clever by a half?

i Sweet Thang ... I have been given a book by Ken Follett called The Pillars of The Earth .... ever heard of it? The blurb has him saying 'this is an important book' so I resisted reading it, but it is interesting ... medieval architecture is fascinating, (even when misspelled),

I find responding to a message on Shelfari kind of tricky. Yes, that's me. The confusion lies in the fact that I'm even more handsome in person. It throws a lot of people. And yes I have quite a collection of wigs. This is my Keith-Richards-just-rolled-out-of-bed wig. I wear this one a lot.
