Good to meet a Cheever fan! Yeah, I've come to realize, after working with various thoughts on how and when to write, that the "best" time for me, really, is late afternoon. This has been a rather inconvenient discovery, because that's when family responsibilities kick into high gear, but I'm usually most relaxed and reflective then and in a better mood. Wishing you well in your writing endeavors.
