“I love the Elder series, so with great relish I listened to this new book. For the first time since I listened to Twlight (UGH! Gag). I thought about not finishing an audio book. It took over half the book for the "heroine" on the story to accept what was happening to her. All the good guys...”

“I love the Elder series, so with great relish I listened to this new book. For the first time since I listened to Twlight (UGH! Gag). I thought about not finishing an audio book. It took over half the book for the "heroine" on the story to accept what was happening to her. All the good guys mentioned in the book are dead except for 3, the main characters. The most exciting part of the story for me was when she called the dragon. What 3 pages!
It may get better in the next book, but she lost me for this series. It also was NOT a HEA but an Urban Fantasy.”

I've have crossed the line in my contemporary erotica and now it's taking a lot more flawed characters and a darker story to wow me,
I think that if I'd read this a while ago that would have been the case.
I have to say the narrator does a good job with story and the characters. ”
