Since Sunday, August third, the lowest rating for this book was three stars. I really enjoyed this book. For the first time, I read a book that wasn't completely predictable.

  • The Sweet Far Thing
    • Rated 3 stars

The Sweet Far Thing is last book of the Gemma Doyle trilogy. Filled with mystery and suspense, this novel is sure to keep you holding your breath until the last page. Accompanied by her best friends, Gemma once again heads off to the realms, determined to share the magic that is bound to her, with the creatures of the realms. In the concluding volume of a great and terrible beauty, Kartik becomes an enemy, a woman in a lavender dress haunts Gemma’s dream, and the burnt East Wing is rebuilt with an unsettling outcome. However, the conclusion of the trilogy is disappointing. I give this book four stars.
