I love reading teen-romance books such as the ones here on my shelf. I own about 97% of the books in my shelf.

While my book collection keeps on growing, my shelf keeps on getting messier. So even if I'm a bit O.C., it's either I let it be or quit buying books. The latter I can NEVER do. I've tried, believe me, but all I ended up doing... more »

I LOVE Alisa Perne's character. I love how she's still very much human and not as heartless as one would conceive a vampire to be. Her adventures are very interesting, as well as her five thousand year-old history. I didn't want to put this book down for anything else! I even read it on Christmas day. Haha! :D For anyone who's looking for a brand new kind of vampire, here it is. :)

Impossible was really enchanting! I read it from 9pm until 1am. I just could not put it down! It was like the Elfin Knight placed a charm on the book itself that made it impossible to stop reading it. Nancy Werlin's style is definitely made to pull readers deeper into the already-interesting story. This book is a must read. :)

This is definitely my favorite Eva Ibbotson book! I loved Ruth's character - emotional, extremely talkative and very much charming. Her encounters with Quin are the ones that I love the most because it is when she's truly herself and Quin does not mind it one bit.

  • Puppy Love (Simon Romantic Comedies)
    • Rated 4 stars

Puppy Love is definitley one of the best Simon Pulse Romantic Comedies that I have read. Alana Marks is a dog walker who has a great boyfriend, Sammy. That is, until he starts to become a totally different person from the Sammy that she loved. Good thing was, there were the dogs to distract her from all of this. So when she meets hot Connor, she thinks he's perfect. But everyone's got something to hide about themselves.

    Safe to say, I got teary-eyed. Hahaha! It's a really nice book, even if you're not a dog-lover. :)

4 stars for this book because it made me teary eyed. It's such a nice, nice book. I liked the character of Ruby and how she was changed by the events albeit her unwillingness. She eventually realized that in order to save herself, she must save someone else. :)

It was pretty cool except that Kate was too blind to see what was in front of her. But the ending was really cute. :D

Another great book about Deb Caletti. This time, it's all about money and the things you'll learn about having and not having it - and the things it will change.

Melinda has a reason for her silence.

Her friends don't talk to her anymore. Students make fun of her. IT keeps on bugging her.

I love her art teacher's character because he is the only one whom Melinda liked and somehow related to. He was the one who helped Melinda speak out through her art. Her sarcasm and wit makes the book a very interesting read. Somehow, you'd actually feel the pain she was going through, the trauma that it might bring you if the same thing happened to you.

This is a very powerful book about silence, the power of it and the cause and effect of it. SPEAK will surely be one of the books you'd treasure despite not being able to relate to what Melinda has been through.
