    yeah I know what you mean. Wouldn't it be great to have a hidden button built in where you can touch it and instantly you'd be obsorbed in another parallel reaching the book's destination?

    Thanks for the recommendation, sad to say I've only just discovered Ian McEwan in
    the past few months. Thoroughly enjoyed Atonement, but not so thrilled with On
    Chesil Beach. Looking forward to Saturday. Working on The Book Thief now, interesting and readable.

    Hi Melissa what a wonderful find your shelf is, so many books I have never seen. Came across you because I have just added Tessa Hadley to my wish list after a great review in the newspaper, do you recommend her books and if so which ones? Now must add some more things to my wish list! Will keep me going for ages. I am now reading Guns Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond. Every now and again I read a non-fiction - I recommend highly explains why the world is the way it is! Next after that is Anne Enright.
