I'm a book addict. And i have no concept of how many books i can actually read at one time. I try to read at least two simultaneously. I would die without the library. I go at least twice a week. I'm a total dork. Accept me how i am

Hi Megan-- funny profile! I just signed up for Shelfari last week to try to get the word out about my novel, and since you’re in the "chick lit" group I thought I'd drop you a note. My book, “Perfect on Paper,” is about a single woman in San Francisco whose life is hardly perfect. Anyhow, I thought you might want to check it out. I have to start somewhere to get word-of-mouth going outside of my own friends, right? :)
If you decide to read it, I hope you enjoy it- and if you enjoy it, please spread the word b/c grassroots marketing is all I have to get this thing off the ground!
Thanks Megan (and btw the book is on my shelf if you want to take a look)--

Hi Megan! So glad you enjoyed Same as it Never Was. I felt the same way, couldn't put it down. I wish that author (can't remember her name) would write more soon. Right now I'm reading The Stand for another group, it's 1100+ plus pages so I'll be doing that a while! Have a great weekend.

Hi Megan. I love the shopaholic books too, I have Shopaholic and Baby to read soon. Have you read another book by Claire LaZebanik--The Same as It Never Was? I read it last year and loved it. I don't see that book on many peoples' shelves, but I thought it was great.

How did you like the James Patterson books? I just finished both of them last week. I did like them. The writing reminded me of Nicholas Sparks. We have similiar books on the shelf so I have to ask what are you reading now?

I read Charlotte Simmons because I read about it in a review. They were commenting on how it was full of shocking stuff about college activity or something. Whoever reads that book and is shocked needs to crawl out from under his/her rock. I commuted to college - lived with my parents - and knew about stuff like that that went on.

I'm reading "Reading Lolita in Tehran." It's slow going - but required reading for a class I'm taking.
