    “This is the green cloth cover re-issue of the 1979 fourth Edition of the Norton Anthology of English Literature Vol. I and Vol II. It was the text for Dr. Janet Grayson't English Literature survey class, literature to 1660. I fell in love with early literature in that class, and discovered Chaucer and Middle English and the sonnet and Donne, Herbert and Herrick.

    This is the book that made me not just an English major, but a medievalist.”
