Through some diabolical glitch at Shelfari I ended up with TWO accounts and could only sign in to the newly created one. So I've had to transfer all of my books and, more or less, start from scratch. In the process I've also lost all of my "friends" and "followers". I've tried to get Shelfari to correct the situation to no avail. They keep referring me to Amazon and the Amazon "help" people claim never to have heard of Shelfari. Hope you'll continue to "follow" me at my new location. Gunter
Hi McMitch,
Since you're planning to read my first book I thought you'd be interested to know that "STRETCH: Coming of Age in Post-War Germany", the sequel to "Weeds Like Us" has just been published! You can find details on my website:www.weedslikeus.com as well as on amazon.com and bn.com. Happy reading!
Hi McMitch. Just thought you'd like to know that, in addition to the paperback and hardcover versions, my book "Weeds Like Us" is now also available on KINDLE at www.amazon.com. Best wishes, Gunter
hi :) hope you go to bed early tonight! Who knows when Little Grayson Tooter-ton will be hopping down the tooting trail tonight.
Thanks for the link to Google. I was surprised at HOW MUCH of Weeds Like Us can be read on Google but as far as I can see the preview stops at page 76 (and there are 42 pages missing between pages 1-76.) My book actually has a total of 465 pages.
Hello again, McMitch. I'm pleased to hear that you've asked the Naperville Library to buy a copy of "Weeds Like Us." As for reading it online, I know that amazon.com lets you "look inside the book" at selected random pages, but as far as I know, the whole thing is not available online.
i dont know how you had enough energy to read after test making! love you too
Oh shalom there brother!! I am doing just splendid! Hope you are as well! Miss you!
Welcome to the Shelfari World War II group. Thanks for joining us to share and discuss WWII books and topics. Feel free to add books to the group shelf, or to contribute to the discussions, or to start a new topic. Share your thoughts, feelings, or experiences on this fascinating period of world history.
Thanks,
