    Hi Melissa,
I just finished Navy Wife and loved it. I have it in paperback and was switching back and forth between Dear John on Kindle and it. I enjoyed it more than Dear John.

Thanks! I'm really glad I stumbled upon this site, everyone is so warm and passionate about books (which is how the world should be). I like all types of fiction, but some of my favorite authors are Jodi Picoult, Laurell K Hamilton, Margaret Atwood, Tom Robbins, Christopher Moore and Laurie Notaro. Wow it's hard to narrow that down. I have always wanted to get into mystery could you recommend something for a beginner?

I think I misspellled her name....Karen Medlicott I think. Haven't read her in a while.

I have traded books among my friends here in park but that's all. As soon as I read a book, I pass it on. I have many here and a large bookcase full at home.

Karen Kingsbury 9/11 series is wonderful. Tuesday Morning and Beyond Tuesday morning. Very emotional. Shades of Blue was also very, very good

    Hi Melissa,
I also like Karen Kingsbury, Mary Higgins Clark, Karen Medlicott and many others. Have been busy adding books I've read from my data base I printed out years ago. Going to take quite a while I think

Hi Mellissa, I'll try again to answer your first question. The books I like the best are Debbie Macomer's books with the street addresses. Get to feel like you're part of the town. Thinkthe next one willl be out in September. Also like her Christmas books.

Hi, Melissa -- My favorite authors run a large gamut - so many of them! One of my favorites (and I keep all her books even tho I have very little space) is Lavyrle Spencer. She wrote 21 romances before she retired and I take several out to reread every 3 or 4 years. I love Nora Roberts, Lisa Kleypas, Jude Deveraux, Heather Graham, - gosh, I could go on and on - and on. Take a look at my Favorites shelf - most are on there. I sometimes read non-fiction and enjoy it, some mysteries here and there.

I just finished Dying for dinner which is the 4th in the Miranda Bliss Cooking Class Mysteries I would say it was my favorite because it had a lot more going on in it but its hard to choose a favorite in those as for Joanne luke my Favorite was Cherry Cheesecake Murder because I love norman and mike and there was more of them in that one but I also loved Cream Puff Murder. How about you? and what other cozy authors do you enjoy? I always ask people in hopes they have read something I havent

The one I just finished was MY VALENTINE NERD. It was pretty funny, and it was very entertaining. It's an old one, published in 2006. I'm reading Delinsky again, an older one. Published in 2003. I'm finally getting around to it. I have several books like that put back to read. I bought when they wqere released, but never had a chance to read it. Now I do. So...I'm taking advantage of it. LOL

I enjoyed them, but there are better series. I'll have to check if I still have it. The changing point of view and the unrelated recipes annoy me.

The weather is overcast with rain/snow int he forecast. It was sunny earlier, but the clouds came back. Hope you are having better weather!
You'll get the McKevett books soon and then we can talk about them. I'm looking forward to it.
I've been reading Delinsky and Vicki Lewis Thompson. Love them both. But Delinsky's latest was special to me. It's the one that she uses my name for the main character, Susan Tate. And as I told her it did me very proud. Hope you check it out one day.
    Happy reading,
    Sue
