Thank you for all the information. I'll check it out. It's amazing what's out there. It's been nice chatting with you. Hope you continue to enjoy reading also. I know I love it. 8-)
Hi. If they were listed at the bottom or very beginning with no numbers that would be cool. I can totally understand why it might be helpful to have them listed. I removed them because if you're looking for the appropriate order of reading a series as the author has them listed on their website it is confusing. I always go to the author's page and verify before I do any editing. It would be cool if there were another section that could be attached to a series just for the side stories.
Sorry for the typo: "forward" s/b "foreword."
Duh.

Mattress,
Re your "complete" question...
We tend to believe the title found on the edition label (not the title on the detail page.) If two editions both say "The Complete Works of X", we believe them to contain the same thing in absence of information to the contrary.
However, "Complete Works" is not the same thing as "Complete stories and poems' but should contain those in addition to other things. Therefore "complete works" would not be combined with "complete stories and poems" - again, in absence of any information to the contrary found in things such as the forward, websites, or other reliable sources.
Does that make sense?

Thanks. I went to the link you gave me, the bottom of which was your question, "Is there a way to list some as an Author and Illustrator without adding the name twice?" There were two replies, but for some reason I am unable to view those replies. I trust your reading on those replies, so you should follow that and I thank you again for your patience and your helpful editing work.
I do not want to contradict Shelfari policy. If it's convenient, I would be interested in reading what you saw concerning listing contributors twice. I am a new Shelfari Librarian and am becoming familiar with the rules myself, so I hope I didn't provide you any misinformation. If that is the case, I am sorry.
Thanks for the corrections to Killraven, including the description of Mark Farmer as inker rather than artist. In the future, rather than list the same contributor (like Alan Davis) twice, you can list the contributor once and use the “Contribution Details” to clarify how the individual contributed. For Killraven, we have Alan Davis listed as Author, and we have him listed again as Artist. Perhaps we can list Alan Davis just once, as Author, mention that he is also Artist in the “Contribution Details” field, and delete his other entry. If you would like to do that, go for it, and thanks for helping make the details of the Shelfari catalog more accurate.
Hello Mattress!
I just wanted to give you a heads up that I have rejected your modification of the contributors to Bloody Tourists, as the request came across as blank. If you would like to resubmit the request, we can once again give a look over.
Thanks for your continued hard work!

Thanks for the reply, I have added the two terms to the Glossary section. I appreciate you adding content to this book page as it will benefit me when I get to reading it. I have done this myself and one of the authors saw what I had done on the book page of his book and emailed me with thanks and gratitude for giving his book page great justice.
Adding content as we read is a lot of work and can lessen our enjoyment of the book, but in the long run, it is worth it. I print out the pages once completed and keep as a record of the book so that in years to come you can refresh your memory. Also, if Shelfari for some reason no longer exists you have a record.

I noticed you added content to the Organisations section of Angelology. I have this book on my shelf and have not read it yet, but am very familiar with both these terms. However, these two terms really belong in the Glossary section as you are defining what they are and that is what a Glossary is. Not sure if you were aware of that and I am not offering this as any criticism. I love seeing book pages filled with content for the benefit of other readers to see what a particular book is about.
