I have had a shabby educational experience, yet am a voracious reader. I can attest that the majority of the things I retain as knowing have come mostly from spending hours with my nose between the pages of a book. All of this can be traced back to my father. He read to me at night when I was a child. Everything from the works of Arthur Conan Doyle to the Walt Disney treasury of stories. So I come by it honestly. I even marched to the library at an early age and procured my very own paper Irving library card, now almost two decades later I have a sorely underused Tiskilwa paper library card. « less
