Although I've always considered myself to be a reader in every sense of the word, I started to get a bit lazy once I got into college. I know, right? The fact that I was an English major who hadn't read in sometime was perplexing. I'm fortunate to say that my recent acquiring of a Nook has highly accelerated my reading interest and progress. Now that I have this device, there is no excuse for me not to read anymore. The fact that I can take it anywhere and get through a couple of chapters is really exciting and encouraging.

I'm pursuing a career in English/Reading education, and I feel that being a part of this site can really help me connect with fellow English teachers. « less
