Hello Kinshasa is a place in D.R.Congo in Africa
No offended - just very weary of the multitude of authors posting such stuff.
No - not Shelfari staff. Even if I were, Shelfari staff do not review books for authors. That would be a conflict of interest with Amazon who owns the site.
The word you didn't really catch in my profile is "edit" - I review/approve/reject edits ;made to the Shelfari catalog.
I strongly - STRONGLY - that you not put out drafts of your work.on Amazon. If you have read any of the postings on Amazon Discussion fora you'll find that self-published writers are becoming more and more unacceptable because of that practice. Have your drafts reviewed BEFORE putting them out on Kindle.
Read some books about the craft of writing and the profession of author. Most of them will hammer home the point that finding editors (both copy-editing and structure editing) is a necessary step. Publishing drafts is a sign of lack of professionalism.
I meant it when I wished you luck with your book. Learning more about the craft will help.

I'll be honest here.
I'm gonna say no to the review request.
Two reasons:
1) My attitude would be bad going in because you didn't express your original posting clearly enough to me for me to even understand what your point was. I'd wonder how well you write before I even started reading.
2) I don't know you - don't recall having interacted with you at all on Shelfari. Therefore, I suspect that this note wasn't sent to "me" so much as it was one of many sent to any member name you chanced to find. I don't like spam or spammers and do not consider Shelfari a tool for aspiring writers to use in hawking their wares.
I'm certain this sounds harsh but you are by no means the only author to "attack" me in this way so you are bearing the brunt of my disgust with the whole of the self-published writers community.
Apart from that, best of luck with your book.
Sincerely.

Hello, if you publish through Kindle Direct Publishing, you can choose to enrol in KDP Select and they give you five free promotion days! Hope that helps.
Caroline
I don't know what you mean. Are you requesting that I review your book?

Nice to see your face. I hope you and your family are well. I am reaching out because my sister, Kaytea, left for Brazil today with her boyfriend. She asked where you are etc. email me if you are open to her reaching out- somethingwithstars@yahoo.com. I think you would enjoy them both. All the best, M*
Hello,
I've been lazy at meeting all the new people that have started following me on Shelfari. I doubt I'll have time to carry on extensive conversations with the 100+ people that I don't really know, but I'd love to talk to you guys if you have time. Feel free to note me on my profile, or follow me on my blog: flipflyfall.blogspot.com
Looking forward to meeting all of you,
Helen
Please come check out and join my new group. Add your book to the shelf while you're there. It's a place for new authors to really discuss their books, not just list them. Join the discussions and tell us what is great about your book. Also, invite all of your friends so that we can really get this group going!
Hmmm... The closest languages to Norwegian that are slightly easier to understand are the other Scandinavian languages (Icelandic, Swedish, Finnish, Danish & Faroe). I can't recall ever hearing someone speak Dutch or German since I've taken up Norwegian, but if I do I'll let you know whether I can understand them, but I doubt I will...
hmmph, Frisian... Don't think I've even heard the name before... Sorry...
Thanks! It's a murder mystery, and it's about witches, so it seemed a natural segue from Pretty Maids All in a Row
Hi Marcelo, my book has taken me 2 + year to finish!! There was a lot of emation's I had to deal with while writting!!
I play the viola, but I can play the fiddle and read fiddle music. I have never heard of Telluride Music Festival; what is it?
To be honest, I got some of that from a friend's profile but glad you could get a laugh out of it. Are you an author? What do u like to write about?
