    Hey Ma,
How nice of you to at least check it out - that was very sweet. Sorry this is not your cup of tea. I actually think it is much different than most fantasy (not trying to sell you on it just mentioning what it is) in that its not about world building and long involved descriptions of people and places you don't care about - it is more of an action/adventure but it setting is in a fantasy world and hence the fantasy genre.

Again thanks for peeking and letting me know what you found.

I have posted a question including titles of short stories I read in August. I wanted to make sure, if I can still claim those titles for the MakeOver Cahllenge?! I only checked-in 'The Short Stories' by F.S. Fitzgerald but would of course use story titles if possible.
    Thank you in advance.

Oh Ma, I have yet another Makeover Challenge for you. =\

Do cookbooks count for this challenge? I assume they do since they are books and all books count, but at the same time it seems odd since they aren't really a book you read cover to cover. I noticed on the RIT shelf there are some cookbooks entered. So, do they count? I've been doing a lot of recipe compiling from cookbooks this month so I'll have quite a few to add if they do count.

Thank you for your kind words. September has been a very difficult month for those of us in southern Louisiana. We are slowly returning to "normal" again. I greatly appreciate your support and will enjoy my stay at the Spa!

Yes, I was wondering if stand-alone short stories were eligible for the current challenge, in whatever capacity you deem useful. One Story is a publication I subscribe to that send me just one story in a simple little softcover booklet each month. They support new or up-and-coming authors. I also read a lot of New Yorker short stories, in the magazine or on line.

Hi, Ma. I was wondering if I can count some of my rather long short stories for the current RIT challenge? I've been getting "One Story" over the past few months and keep putting them aside. Thanks!

Hi Ma!! I belong to PBT & have seen Anita & Linda talk about your group & then another friend mentioned it, so I decided to check it out. It looks like a lot of fun! I really like the TBR Makeover Challenge & tried to read all the instructions but was just wanting to ask & make sure it was okay to join a little late (actually a month late LOL)! I'm not a very fast reader & since joining Shelfari my TBR list has grown so this sounds like an excellent idea. I'm hoping it's okay to jump right in!

I thought that might be the reason the post was removed. I'm glad you liked my thwack-a-pol! lol I feel like everyone is entitled to their own political views (it is one of the founding principles of the US) but the mispronounciation of nuclear gets me every time! Sorry it had to be discontinued, I thought it had the possibility of being clever and amusing...looking foward to seeing what comes up next!
