    Ender's Game

Intense! An amazing exposition on the human character. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. I felt myself identifying with each of the characters, wondering if I would have done that and acted in the same way. Some would say that the it's "too easy a read" and will dismiss it as...

Intense! An amazing exposition on the human character. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. I felt myself identifying with each of the characters, wondering if I would have done that and acted in the same way. Some would say that the it's "too easy a read" and will dismiss it as shallow. What they don't understand is that in this alternate world (much like in reality), everything is not what it seems to be on the surface. Ender (and a host of other characters) made me cry, because Orson Scott Card made him real. Ender IS real. The weak and the strong in him is in each of us too. He gives us hope that there something more in this world to live for rather than our petty selves. The book speaks in/on so many levels and types of people too... to gamer geeks, students, teachers, parents, soldiers, gifted children, siblings, the human condition. This is definitely a must-read if you want to get introduced to the writings of Orson Scott Card.
