Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!
Sorry Martin, I am not one for reading Sci-Fi... It's just not me. I'm into politics and religion. You know, the only two subjects you don't bring up in a bar. I do however appreciate that there are others out there who admire Glenn Beck's work. He is truly blessed with a talent and I'm glad that there's a voice out there that I can agree with on most everything.
My mother is a county commissioner for Cumberland County and was just up in Presque Isle. I try to connect with any bookstore within a three houir drive of my house to schedule events. I may have just snagged a NY agent, which would be huge. I will be talking to her on Monday. This could open the door much wider for me. So keep your fingers crossed. Peter
Dear Martin: I am an author from Portland. Where is Robbinston? My own debut novel HUNTING THE KING came out in April. What have you been doing locally to promote your work?
THOSE ARE GREAT COLLECTIONS. I AM ALSO SERCHING FOR THOSE BOOKS I HAVE READ
Looking forward to Virtual Wiles when I'm through with my statistics class.
If I do not talk to you before then, Happy Turkey Day!

Thanks a lot for the advice! I'll surely try to get my hands on 'The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt'. And thanks again for accepting my friend- invitation!
Thanks for joining my group, Fantasy and Sci-fi Fanatics! Feel free to add books to the shelf, discuss things, or ask questions!
Crazyblonde :-)
Can you suggest me a good book to read related to history?
At your suggestion, I have added Virtual Wiles to my reading list. Now the trick is to make time and wrangle my dwindling attention span into shape.
