I've been able to read and have loved to read ever since I could remember. But my first real "book moment" was when I read Enid Blyton at 7 - I had received one of the Secret Seven books as a birthday present. Now I read almost everything (I have a tendency towards YA and Fantasy though), and work in the best bookstore in my city.
