I'm a romantic suspense author, and I've had a life-long love affair with books. Like a lot of people, I thought I'd write a book some day. Since time passes so quickly (when you're supposed to be having fun), I found myself well into middle age and still no book--as long as you don't count the 100 pages of one I typed on an old portable Smith-Corona typewriter back in the late Seventies.
I just won a 2008 EPPIE for TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE in the erotic romance contemp/suspense/mystery. And I'm thrilled to death. In 2009 ONE TOO MANY was a finalist in the EPPIEs in the mystery/suspense category.
I'm a member of ROMANCE WRITERS OF AMERICA and MUSIC CITY ROMANCE WRITERS, and P.A.S.I.C.
I'm a native of Henderson, Kentucky, but I've lived in Tennessee so long I almost consider myself a native. I have an adult son, who's a hero in my eyes. I've given up my day job, and it's amazing how much more writing I'm able to accomplish. I have a three-year-old Sheltie named Cassie, and she shares my writing life.
