So, how goes July so far? Are you reading some interesting things? I am working on the Spellman Files, then I plan to read Mudbound, and I hope to squeeze in Wicked City too.

Thanks for your answer about Tex and Molly In The Afterlife - makes me want to read it more than ever. What a great career you've had. I was an elementary school librarian and loved every minute of it. That is a beautiful cat you are holding. Madi

    Hi,
hope you are doing fine. Im presently reading Bodil Malmstens last book -"The last book from Finistere". Obviously she has been forced too leave Finistere. If it is in reality or fiction no one seems to know.
Hope it soon comes in english too.

Nope... Kelly and I have moved into an apartment, and are currently searching for a house. As a result, I haven't been reading much, in fact it's taken me over three weeks to read a Carl Hiaasen book! Hopefully I can start reading again, just can't seem to concentrate right now ;-(

    Marion,
I have not finished. I am undecided about coming tonight. I am mentally drained from work. We have been too busy lately!!

Hey Marion--I am currently reading The Guernsey Literary Society and loving it. Really good. The Gargoyle was good too.

I ended up having to work every day this week, and still had to do that dumb safety class! Ia m so wiped out and now I have to work this morning and go back tonight for the release of Brisigner (third book in the Eragon series)! I hope I can stay awake!

Hope you're doing okay and I really hope to see you soon!

Hooray! I read your latest posting on the Palin issue on BB&D, and you are so right (that means, of course, I agree with you). Lots of unanswered issues that the Rovian party is trying to intimidate the press to sweet under the rug. Such a double standard here.

The Likeness is a continuation...BUT you don't find out what happened to Rob, on that fateful day when he ventured into the woods. We don't find out hardly anything! Instead the story centers on his partner Cassie, in the aftermath of the case that became known as the "vestal virgin case". Although they solved the case, both her and Rob were covered in disgrace, as a result of all of their improprieties. Same cast, but completely different focus in The Likeness. You'll find no answers, only additional questions.
