When I was growing up, my family didn't make a big deal about books. Learning was deemed important but somehow my parents didn't equate that to reading. In the last 20 years I've made up for lost time. In fact, the only thing I won't miss about my son's toddler years is my lack of time to read more. What do I read most? Fast-paced fiction about interesting people doing unusual things, anything about learning (especially informal learning, unschooling, and brain development), non-traditional approaches to leadership and organizational development, and user-centered design. See book reviews and personal commentary on my website www.marciaconner.com.
