    Hi Nicki. It's nice to hear from you. I'm getting in quite a bit of reading this summer. I'm participating in a historical fiction summer reading challenge as part of the Historical Fiction group here on Shelfari, so most of my summer reads so far have fallen in that genre. I'm also working my way through The Three Musketeers by Dumas, and should finish Magyk by Angie Sage (it's a kids book) in the next day or two.

    Hi Nikki. Thanks for the note and friendship request. I have several favourites when it comes to historical fiction: Katherine by Anya Seton, Sharon Kay Penman's The Sunne In Splendour and her England/Wales Trilogy, Mary Queen of Scotland and the Isles by Margaret George, and Sandra Gulland's Josephine Bonaparte trilogy...my list could go on and on. Are you a fan of historical fiction? What are you reading now? I'm working my way through Thackeray's Vanity Fair, as well as John Grisham's The Innocent Man.
    PS - Since you enjoyed the The Thorn Birds mini-series you would probably love the book.
